BBC Scotland reported that Minecraft fans will be able to witness Stampy demonstrate how he creates his videos in a conversation with Chris van der Kuyl, Dundee games entrepreneur.

Stampy will discuss the process of making his Christmas special and give viewers an insight into his life and a career that has seen him become one of the world's most viewed YouTubers.

Van der Kuyl stated that Stampy was the "epitome digital native of the 21st century" who would inspire viewers regardless of age.

"Stampy is an inspiring figure to a whole new generation of people who can clearly see that the future of careers will be dependent on a unique mix of talent, creativity and technical skills that can be developed," he said.

The RSE lecture will be held as part of BBC Make it Digital, an initiative to encourage digital creativity among children and teens.
